New School Year

School starts tomorrow!

sniff sniff sniff 

I am not ready.

sniff. 

Although, there was some bickering going on amongst the kiddos today. That helped me get ready!  But I realized at Open House tonight that I still don't want them to go, quiet house or not! Not only will I miss them, but I'll miss the lazier, more laid back days of summer.  It seems during the summer we're all together, whereas the rest of the year we're going in 9 different directions (and Mom has to keep track of it all!).

But ready or not, here it comes!

Thankfully, summertime comes around every year. *smile*

We've got everyone in K-8 this year.  Isn't that crazy??  Took the customary Open House pictures...

 In case you're wondering, Shianne did attend Open House.  But apparently in eighth grade you're too old cool for pictures! Lol

Preschool

A week and a half ago Summer started preschool!  Even though she had a rocky start, all but one day she has been very excited to go!  Yeah!  She goes 3 mornings a week.  On Mondays, Jaden and I enjoy our time alone together.  On Wednesdays, I watch a little friend of Jaden during preschool, so he gets some friend time in, and on Fridays, Gabe is home, so it's the three of us.

Not to be left out, Jaden is also in preschool one day a week.  I've once again joined a Preschool-Coop.  I group of 5 moms that rotate having preschool in our homes.  We only meet on Tuesdays, so it's my turn once every 5 weeks.  Jaden had his first time last week and loved it!!

As his Daddy said, true to boy fashion, his favorite parts were playing outside (recess) and lunch! 

{We don't normally have lunch during preschool, but a few of the other kids had an out of town dentist appointment, so my friend watched him for me}.
