Ok, this is SO HILARIOUS my cheeks still hurt! I discovered it over at We Are That Family.

So, Brandy says, "It's not funny," as he hides a smile.  =)

Ok, so it's not quite him, but I can just see...hmmmm...Brandy, Rich, Clint, and...hmmmm....Scott....putting one of their own together, can't you?  LOL.  Man, I'm still giggling!  Below you'll see some things Brandy has done with the kids the last week.  Enjoy the video!

Of course, Brandy's behind the camera, so he's not in any of these pictures, but he's definitely doing the "Dad thing"!

Last week Brandy took Tye and Gabe {along with Brandy's nephew, Braedon, and Brandy's Dad} to a College World Series Game. Good times!

And then, this weekend, he took the kiddos to the local pool.

And I would again, in a heartbeat!!  Although I'd let you get the question out before I said excitedly said "yes! yes! yes!" this time {probably!}.  Next time, propose before you show me the ring.  *smile*

Oh, goodness, I can't believe it's actually 3 days after Father's Day and I'm finally posting this.  I had grand plans...having all the kiddos tell me what they loved about their dad.  And I still may.  But every time I think of it they aren't all at home...and so...here it is...just little ole me.  But that will do. *smile*

Happy Father's Day to the love of my life.  Brandy, I love you so much, and I wouldn't pick anyone else to be my other half, or the father to my children.  Our children.  What wonder.  What love.

I love the way you play with our kids.  I love the way that they know that their Daddy loves them.  I love how you step in when you  know I need a break from mothering.  I love how you provide for your family.  I love how you lead us spiritually, and make sure all your children know that Jesus loves them.  As we both "grow up" in this life, I can't wait to see you grow...us grow together...and watch our children grow.  What a journey.

I couldn't parent these 7 wonderful kids of ours without you.  I wouldn't want to.  They wouldn't want me to. 

The kids and I are so blessed to have you so fully in our lives.  We love you!  Happy Father's Day.

Circus Dad

Last week Brandy and his Dad took the kids to the circus.  Quite the feat for a Grandpa and Dad!  For at least 3 of the kids it was a first.  How exciting!!  Svanna's favorite was the acrobats and Gabe's favorite was the tigers.  

Happy Birthday, Brandy!!

My one and only had a birthday today. Do you know how he spent the morning? He put shelves in the laundry room for me and did another honey do. On his birthday. Then in the afternoon he went to work.

I said, you don't need to do these things on your birthday! He said he knew that, but I probably did things for him on my birthday as well.

Do I have a keeper or what? A forever keeper.

I love you, honey. With all my heart. Always and Forever.

Happy Father's Day, Brandy!

I wish I knew how to describe in words how much I love you.

I wish I knew how to tell you how much I respect you.

I wish I knew how to tell you how great of a Dad you are, and how blessed we are as a family to have you in our lives.

I am amazed at how much I love you.

I am amazed at how much you've grown in your role as a Dad. Who would have thought we'd have 7 kids, huh? Me or you! Yet, here we are. And I wouldn't trade it for the world. Watching you be a great Dad is one of my great joys in life. Watching you grow as they grow. Watching you love them, play with them, be a role model for them.

I love you, Brandy. Happy Father's Day.

Brandy's Class Reunion

As you may remember, Brandy had his class reunion last weekend. His 20th. Does that put us in the old category. Nah! Got a ways to go for that yet!

A few minutes ago I was roaming around facebook, and came across this picture that Julie (in the picture) posted from the reunion. About then, a few of the kids came in and wanted a look.

Well, Mark (the guy on the right), had stopped by during the weekend to visit, so the kids recognized him. I told the kids that these were friends of Dad's from school.

Svanna, pointing at Mark: "Daddy, friend?"

Me: "Yep"

Svanna, pointing at Julie: "Dad, teacher?"

Me: (laughing) "No, that's Daddy's friend, too"

Shianne: "Yeah, all Dad's teachers are probably dead."

Ha!!!

Brandy gave her "the look." LOL!
