Wow, my sweet girl. How did you get to be 5 already?
How is it that this is your second birthday with us? Where does time go? As time goes fast, yet I mourn the 3 birthdays that we missed and I rejoice that we can celebrate with you the many yet to come!
What a blessing you are to our lives, Summer! Full of sunshine, smiles and wonder. Just like your name.
Daddy jokes that we should have named you "Latifa" because you are sure that you are a Queen! We have people ask us how we can ever say "no" to your sweet face, full of so many expressions. We respond that we just have to! Although you, my sweetie, are not Queen and in charge of all, you are definitely a princess. You are a princess in our home, and as a Child of the King, you are most certainly a princess indeed.
