Labor Day Weekend

Yay!  Thank you, Lord, Momma's back was fine yesterday, so we were able to have lots of fun!

But let's start with Friday night.  Our good friends had us out to their lovely farm for a picnic and bonfire.  You may remember our visit there last year. Good food.  Good fun.  Good friends.

For labor day we slept in {yay!} and then went to a parade!  This was a first for Svanna and Gabe.  And how can you really explain a parade unless you've been there?  Turns out, Shianne, Sierra, Svanna and their friend Emma got to ride in Grandpa and Grandma's church Noah's Ark float.  Fun!  And extra special since we all enjoyed seeing Noah's Ark the Musical in Branson earlier in the summer.

I love pics of kids on the curb watching a parade {and waiting for candy to be thrown!}.  Ah, the small town parades...gotta love 'em!

Jaden won a ring toss game at a church carnival, boy was he proud!
