Seriously Unreal...

...I mean really?

OUR government? The government of the USA is being this ridiculously st*pid?!?! Insane? How in the WORLD can they think this is what is best for the Haitian orphans. The ones who's U.S. parents Haiti has already declared parents to these kids?

The children who landed last night in Miami (and those coming in today) are now being detained in refugee camps. They are apparently going to be taken to foster care and will not be released until their parents are licensed as foster parents!! UNBELIEVABLE!! These are parents who have been LEGALLY DECLARED THE CHILDRENS' PARENTS while the children were still in Haiti! I cannot believe how utterly uncaring and incompetent our government is being! Can you imagine the trauma these kids are going through?!?!?!?

PLEASE, IF YOU LIVE IN FLORIDA, CAN YOU CONTACT YOUR REPS, SENATORS, AND CONGRESSMEN ABOUT THIS? AND CALL THOSE NEWS STATIONS! GET THEM DOWN TO THE MIAMI AND ORLANDO AIRPORTS!! PLEASE!!! I have two friends being affected by this!!


Please, let's pray specifically for these kids and their parents. The parents were allowed to be with them for a time at the airport, told that they would be able to bring them home after waiting and praying SO LONG, only to be told that they would be going to a camp and possibly a strangers home after all the trauma they've already gone through. Pray pray pray.

It makes having yet another snow day seem so minuscule.
